Delivery & Return Policies
DELIVERY
Delivery to anywhere in the mainland, UK, is aimed for next day delivery; provided that we receive the order before 17.00PM, the day before, and that we currently have the stock.
Please note that a few special furniture products require a slightly longer delivery time and you will be informed by e-mail of the alternative delivery date.
Delivery Charges
We offer delivery as FREE OF CHARGE when the cost of the order equals, or exceeds £49.00 ex VAT.
For all orders less than £49.00 exclude VAT, there is a delivery charge of £9.95
All furniture delivery will be charge £14.95 at any order value.
Backorders
Any item that is out of stock when ordered will be placed on backorder; you will be notified by e-mail of the expected delivery date.
Should we receive no response from our e-mail we will assume that you wish to accept the goods on the date as specified.
If the delivery date is unacceptable please respond to our e-mail and we will cancel the backorder and either credit your credit card or, if you are an account customer, you will not be invoiced.
RETURNS
The Seller’s Customer Service Office(s), reachable by E-Mail, Phone or Post must be notified within the time periods in this policy, and we must be provided with the following information:
· The invoice number and/or packslip number in respect of the goods
· The quantity of the goods, subject of the returns request (expressed in the Seller’s correct unit of sale)
· The reason for the return request
If goods are no longer required, and you need them to be collected, requests must be made within 15 days of receipt of the goods, and they must be unused, undamaged, and in their original packaging, unopened.
Should the Buyer wish to return goods after 15 days from receipt, agreement from the Seller must be sought, and a handling charge of 20% of the invoiced value of the goods will be incurred. The Buyer must ensure that sufficient packaging is provided in order to avoid damage occurring during transit.
Where an incorrect product was sent to the Customer, the Customer shall request collection from the Seller within 3 working days of receipt.
If goods are damaged in transit or are faulty, or they are not conforming to specification, the Customer must request collection from the Seller within 3 working days of receipt, and the goods must be returned within 15 days of receipt. Should the Customer wish to return goods after 15 days from receipt, agreement from the Seller must be sought and a handling charge of 20% of the invoiced value of the goods to be returned shall apply.
If goods returned, as damaged / faulty goods, are subsequently proven not to be faulty or damaged, the Seller reserves the right to levy a handling charge of £5.00 per item returned and to return the goods to the Buyer.
A separate returns procedure applies in respect of Electronic Office Supplies and Business Machines. Where a manufacturer or distributor operates a returns policy, returns will only be accepted in accordance with that policy. Such policies are available upon request.
The Seller shall not accept the return of not required electrical items that have been removed from their packaging.
In the case of diaries, planners and associated dated goods, return requests shall be made by no later than the 10th December of the year previous to the year to which such dated goods relate.
